📚✏️ ATTENTION RALEIGH COUNTY PARENTS! 🏫🎒
School attendance is more than just showing up—it’s a step toward success, a chance to learn, and an opportunity to grow! We believe every day in class counts, and we need your help to spread the message! Let’s show our community what it means to be present and ready to learn!
We’re launching the #GetYourSelfieToSchoolRCS campaign! 🏆✨ Parents, we invite you to snap a picture of your child headed off to school in the morning and share it with Raleigh County Schools using the tag #GetYourSelfieToSchoolRCS to enter a chance to WIN an exciting prize! 🎁🙌 The pictures will be posted on the Raleigh County Schools Facebook page (limit 1 per student per day), and the contest will run through November. A winner will be chosen at random for the elementary level as well as for the middle and high school levels.
It’s simple: 📸 Take a picture of your student on their way to school. 📲 Share the photo using #GetYourSelfieToSchoolRCS. ✅
Let’s make sure EVERY student has the chance to shine this school year. Together, we can promote good attendance and celebrate our amazing students. Ready, set… #GetYourSelfieToSchoolRCS! 🏫🎉

We hope everyone has enjoyed this beautiful weekend! Don't forget there is no school on Tuesday, November 5th. We have some exciting events coming up! The Science/STEM fair will be November 15th. Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming the week of November 18th. Have a great week!

1st - 5th grade students will be bringing home report cards today.

We hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Please remember, Monday evening at 5:30 there is a volunteer reader training at the school! This is through the Read Aloud program and we would love to have more parents and family members involved.
The 4th graders will be selling Boo Grams for $1.00 each on Monday and Tuesday to help fund their end of year field trip.
Wednesday there is no school. This is to allow for parent/teacher conferences. If you have not done so already, you can choose a time with your child's teacher to come in for a short meeting concerning your child's achievement so far this year. Lastly, please observe the new handicapped parking spaces in the parking lot. They are located in the row closest to the school. Also, please observe our traffic pattern. Enter and exit through the traffic light side of the school. Please do not try to drive against the traffic. This causes safety issues for everyone. The side hill is reserved for busses, daycare vans, and special circumstances. No one else should enter or exit this way. Thank you.

🎃🎃Don't forget tonight is Pumpkin Night! Come trick-or-treat and check out the amazing pumpkins! 🎃🎃Doors open at 5:30.
